What makes Sign Through the Seasons: All Year so different?

You may already be using sign language during your daily routines and experiences, like I teach in Look Who’s Signing Now. But what if those look a bit different depending on the season?

I make it easy for you.

Sign Through the Seasons is the first series of its kind that has already created the learning experiences for your child and helps them communicate with more confidence so you can make the best family memories.

Age groupings

No need to guess if an activity is appropriate for your child’s age, or purchase a product to find out most of the material isn’t even appropriate.

Each themed activity kit includes my personal book recommendations and activity categories for babies less than 12 months, young toddlers less than 2 years, and older toddlers and preschoolers 4 years and younger.

Best part? Many of the activities and books can be scaled up or down to be used for multiple ages! I discuss each in the training videos, along with signs that can be easily targeted while your little plays and explores.

Nice to meet you!

I’m Laura and I can’t wait to cheer you on as you feel at ease using meaningful, hands-on activities to extend your child’s language.

After feeling overwhelmed at the endless search results, pins, and saves I have done on social media to find activities to use with my own children, I’ve discovered the exact elements of activities, story books, and hands-on experiences that reduce my stress levels while allowing my children to extend their language and communication skills while making learning connections throughout each season, and at any age from baby to preschooler.

I can’t wait for you to get your hands on these time-saving resources I have created to help you effortlessly use sign language while reading story books and exploring through hands-on experiences with your young child. You can de-stress and instead put your effort and energy into having fun while using sign language without spending a fortune or pulling your hair out.

I’ll see you inside!

 frequently asked questions

  • Look Who’s Signing Now focuses on using sign language on a daily basis: your routines, meal times, and everyday play. LWSN includes 90+ functional ASL signs that can be used any day and any season. Sign Through the Seasons focuses on the seasonally specific vocabulary and activities that are not available or used year round, including 48 ASL signs per season (so 192 ASL signs total) to increase communication alongside the special experiences of the season.

  • Great news! I have taken the time to create story book recommendations, activity ideas, and targeted signs for each age range: babies, young toddlers, and older toddlers or preschoolers. No matter your child's age from 0-4 years old, you can benefit from the material. If your child is trying to communicate with you and their verbal skills are still developing, or you want your child to build their sign language skills into ASL in the future, this is for you!

  • Most videos range from 5-15 minutes long. Watch at your leisure in the pockets that your current season of parenthood allows.

  • Everything you need is kept in your membership portal. Everything is digital; nothing will be mailed or shipped to you. You will learn the keys to success and 3 techniques to use with sign language. There are 4 seasonal themes per season that include book recommendations, ASL signs, and activity ideas. Your resources include a materials list for each theme for easy planning & prep!

  • Spring: spring, weather, garden, and bugs

Summer: summer, patriotic, ocean animals, and transportation

Fall: fall, apples, Halloween, and farm animals

Winter: winter, gingerbread, Christmas, and arctic animals

  • Each theme has a material list so you can easily figure out what you already have and what you need to get or find a quick substitute. Each item on the list is a direct link to purchase from Amazon, but I include lots of tricks and my favorite places to get these items for cheap!

  • Once you enroll, you will have access to a portal, where all resources, tutorials, and training recordings are kept. You will have access to all materials forever, and as I update this course in the future! You are free to rewatch, revisit, and review everything you learned as often as needed... as well as use for future years as your children age, or you welcome new additions to your family.

  • Many of the story books and activities that I have deemed for "babies" can honestly work for many ages. And same with the others, as well! In the videos, I will mention how activities can be applied to other ages and adjusted slightly to fit older or younger ages.

This all-inclusive activity workshop is a perfect fit for you, if…

  • You want to incorporate sign language to your child’s play and learning, but finding resources that are reliable is difficult - Many mass-marketed sign language resources are not created by individuals who know ASL, child development, or early education. I ensure you will learn correct ASL signs and strategies that are proven for your young child’s age.

  • You feel stuck trying to plan which signs to target during activities - Adding this element to your plate can feel even more overwhelming and daunting, no matter your level of expertise in either area.

  • You’re tired of spending hours scouring blogs and social media accounts - the time consuming, endless results, and overwhelming process is something no mom has time for. Let me take the load off for you.
